In 1990, Charlie began training for his black belt with Guy Mezger. He received his 1st degree with Mr. Mezger as the recommending instructor at Sun Belt Academy and Mr. Tim Kirby as Head Instructor in 1994. Charlie continued his training with Mr. Mezger as he evolved his fighting styles to what is now known as MMA (Mixed Martial Arts). Since his black belt, Charlie has trained with Coach Rudy in Boxing and Chris Bowls for Shoot Wrestling, which he continues to this day.
In 2004, Charlie joined Freddie Poole and the FPMA team as an Instructor. Dallas Fisher
1st Degree Black Belt
Karate instructor/Private Instructor
17 years Martial Arts experience 9 years teaching experience Placed 1st in 20+ tournaments in Kata and Sparring Divisions Rated one of the top 5 Texas competitors in Sparring in 2006
Dallas started his martial arts experience since birth. His father, Mickey Fisher, has been engulfed in karate since the early 1960’s, becoming the first teenage Black Belt in America. Dallas physically began taking Shin-Toshi (a form of Tae Kwon Do) from his father around age 5 in Dallas, TX. Through the years, Dallas competed and won numerous tournaments in both Kata and Sparring divisions. He moved up the ranks and earned brown belt at age 13 under Mike Tuitipo in Salt Lake City, UT. He then moved to Pennsylvania and took an extended break from karate. Within the last two years, he has since moved back to Texas to pick up where he had left off. After a couple years of hard work and total dedication, he tested and earned his Black Belt on May 20th, 2006. He truly has a love for Tae Kwon Do and is very excited about continuing to compete and the opportunity to pass on his experience to others who share his passion.
